On April 7, the second-generation wide-bodied, shallow-draft 66,000DWT bulk carrier "UM JIANGSU" (under Panama flag) built by Yangzi-Mitsui for a Japanese shipowner was successfully delivered by electronic signature and departed from the shipyard wharf.

"UM JIANGSU" is the conclusion project of the owner's six units of 66000DWT bulk carriers in series. It successfully completed the sea trial on March 21 this year, and all test results were better than the design indicators. The ship measures 199.99 m in length overall, 36.00m in moulded breadth, 18.45m in moulded depth, with a designed draft of 11.20m, and was built in accordance with the rules and regulations of Class NK.

On the afternoon of April 7, "UM JIANGSU" was delivered and departed from the shipyard wharf and started her maiden voyage.
